Military Discounts for Your Next Disney Vacation
So, you’re ready to plan your next Disney vacation? Well, you are certainly in the right place friend! It is such a joy for me to serve my fellow military families as they navigate the challenging task of planning a Disney vacation. Fortunately for you, I’ve laid out all of the available military discounts for your next Disney vacation! Let’s get started, shall we?
WALT DISNEY WORLD
Military Salute Promotional Tickets
Members of the United States Military and their families can enjoy specially priced theme park tickets to The Most Magical Place on Earth! For Walt Disney World, choose between a 4-Day, 5-Day or 6-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket for visits in 2025. These tickets must be purchased via a base ITT or MWR ticketing office, and can also be purchased directly through the on-property Walt Disney World DoD hotel, Shade Of Green. Make sure you check your base’s website or Facebook page for the latest pricing. While it may vary slightly depending on the base installation ITT or MWR ticket office you purchase from, the pricing should be comparative to the below:
6-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket
Purchase now through December 14, 2025.
- With the Park Hopper Option: $439
- With the Park Hopper Plus Option: $469
5-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket
Purchase now through December 15, 2025.
- With the Park Hopper Option: $419
- With the Park Hopper Plus Option: $449
4-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket
Purchase now through December 16, 2025.

- With the Park Hopper Plus Option: $429
Valid Admission Dates
Receive admission for 4, 5 or 6 days, valid for visits January 1, 2025 through December 19, 2025, with an advance park reservation and subject to the following blockout dates:
- April 13, 2025 through April 26, 2025
- November 23, 2025 through November 29, 2025
Tickets and options expire and may not be used after December 19, 2025.
Park Reservations Required
You still need both a theme park reservation and valid theme park ticket for the same park on the same date are required for each person in your party ages 3 and up. Reservations are limited and subject to availability. You’ll also need to make sure your tickets are linked properly in your My Disney Experience account prior to activation and prior to making park pass reservations!
Activate Your Tickets
In order for your tickets to be valid, you will need to activate them at a ticket booth or guest services upon arriving at the Walt Disney World Resort. The military member (or spouse) who purchased the tickets will need to take them all and verify with an eligible military ID before entering any of the parks. Once this is done at the beginning of your trip, you will not need to show your ID again any other days you visit the parks!

Always bring the printed paper, receipt, and physical card issued to you by your base ITT or MWR office when activating your tickets!
What Is A Park Hopper?
When Guests purchase a ticket with Park Hopper benefits, they will be able to visit more than one park per day. This means that subject to park capacity limits, you can visit any of the other theme parks later in the day without needing to make a park reservation first!
Do I Have To Use All Days Of My Ticket?
Nope! The value of Military Salute Park Hopper Tickets is that you can use them over the course of 1, 2 or maybe even 3 separate trips. Days of your ticket do not need to be used consecutively, and remaining days are valid up until the last blackout date of the 2025 season.
How Many Am I Allowed To Purchase?
Each military member is allotted 6 tickets per calendar year for their entire family. No, this does not mean 6 for you, 6 for your spouse, 6 for one kid, 6 for the other…etc. Your family gets 6. That’s it!

Magic Your Way Tickets
Don’t want to visit Walt Disney World for 4, 5 or 6 days? At a slightly lower discount (but it’s still a discount) you can purchase specially price “Magic Your Way” tickets for a visit spanning 1-10 days! Unfortunately, these tickets must be used in full within 13 days of first use before expiring (i.e. you can’t use them over the course of multiple visits to Walt Disney World.) The good news? There is no limit on how many of these types of tickets you can purchase in a calendar year and you do not need to activate them when you arrive at the parks!
Room Reservations & Packages
Traditional Room-Only Reservations with Military Discount
Select resorts at the Walt Disney World Resort may offer space available military rates for on-site hotel rooms. Sometimes these can be up to 40% off the regular racked rates! Discounted rooms & bookings must be made over the phone by a travel agent or the military member. Deposits are equal to the first night’s room rate + taxes & fees, and the cancellation window for a full refund is up to 8 days prior to check-in. The balance of your reservation is due at check-in, but date modifications can be made up until you start the check-in process! Disney’s Travel Protection is not available for room-only reservations.
*TRAVEL AGENT TIP*
I always recommend that military clients book with this room reservation option just given the flexibility and also the modification options! If you don’t need a payment plan, and can pay your balance due up front at check-in, definitely opt for this type of room reservation.
Military Basic Vacation Packages
If you would like to opt into a ticketless Walt Disney World Vacation Package, there is the option (based on availability) to reserve with a Military Basic Vacation Package. This requires a $200 deposit to book your trip, and you can also choose to make payments along the way leading up to your stay. Your balance is fully refundable and is due in full 30 days prior to check-in, but please remember that any modifications made to your trip within 29 days of arrival could be subject to fees and penalties. Disney’s Travel Protection is available for vacation packages at $95 per adult at Walt Disney World Resort, with children up to and including age 17 included in the per-adult price.

Can You Briefly Explain What Lightning Lane Multi Pass Is?
Lightning Lane Multi Pass is the new upgraded system that you can purchase per day in order to access and reserve Lightning Lanes. When you purchase Multi Pass, you can select return times to enter the expedited queue for included rides & attractions.

DISNEY CRUISE LINE
Select Disney Cruise Line sailings will offer space available military rates for different stateroom categories on many of their popular cruise itineraries around the world! These are typically released anywhere from 4-6 months prior to a given sailing, and are available to all retired and active US Military personnel (or spouse). Proof of military status will be validated at check-in with either a military ID or active duty orders dated January 1 of the previous year (for National Guard or Army Reserve.)
*If you book a cruise with Disney Cruise Line and then see a military rate become available, it unfortunately cannot be applied to your vacation. This is where a last minute trip could be in your benefit…wait until those fares are released before making any plans!

AULANI RESORT
Periodically, Disney will release room discounts (sometimes up to 30% off) for reservations at Disney’s Aulani in Ko Olina, Hawaii. Aulani promotions must be booked within the booking window, and cannot be applied to previous reservations. If you are flexible and can wait to plan 3-6 months ahead, wait to see if military offers are released! These must be booked over the phone by a travel agent or the military member, and a valid ID must be presented at check-in.
